The Nissan Z, also known as the Fairlady Z in Japan, is one of the most anticipated sporstcars right now, so it is natural for tuners to prepare their own proposals. Busou and Central 20 from Japan recently previewed their tuning kit for the Nissan Z with a sketch they posted on Twitter, grasping the attention of future owners.
The visual package that was announced in the Tokyo Auto Salon includes a redesigned front bumper with black-painted add-ons making the grille look bigger. There is also a prominent multi-part splitter seemingly from carbon fiber with red accents. The same theme is applied to the side sill extensions, while the car sits on a set of aftermarket six-spoke wheels finished in black. Finally, the bonnet bulge, the mirror caps, and the roof are all in matte black, completing the dual-tone treatment.
As reported by Kuruma News, the design of the final product might also include a rear wing and a redesigned rear bumper that are currently in development. Central 20 is no stranger to tuning Z models, while Busou is focused on tuning Nissan vehicles.
While it is still early to talk about pricing, we are sure that many tuners will come up with interesting ideas for tuning the Nissan Z as they did with all of its predecessors. Setting aside any visual tweaks, the model is expected to receive various tuning packages for the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that, in stock form, produces 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS) and 475 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque powering the rear wheels through a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
