SpongeBob and his friends are back and filled with new life in Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated. In it, your favorite citizens of Bikini Bottom will be responsible for saving it from destruction after Plankton’s latest evil plan goes wrong. In one of the first areas, players will have to fight the King Jellyfish boss to finish clearing the Jellyfish Fields area. In this guide, we are going to tell you how to easily (and quickly) beat the King Jellyfish boss in Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated.
SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated King Jellyfish Boss Guide
When players first enter the Jellyfish Fields area, they’ll encounter an especially grumpy version of Squidward, who has been stung by the King Jellyfish. To help him out, SpongeBob offers to get him some special jelly, to soothe his burns. In exchange for this, Squidward tells SpongeBob that he will give him a Golden Spatula, which is needed to unlock more areas in the game. So, it’s off to the King Jellyfish boss fight!
Like most games, to get to the Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated King Jellyfish boss fight, players will have to make their way through the different areas of Jellyfish Fields, until eventually, they reach the top of the mountain and find the King. Once you get there, you’ll find the King Jellyfish boss getting ready to get in the shower, and will need to battle him to get the soothing jelly for Squidward.
To beat the King Jellyfish boss in Spongebob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated players will need to hit him three times. The best way to attack the King is to wait for him to get low to the ground and charge up, as seen above. You should see the “jelly” part of his head start to fill down, and when it reaches the top it’ll shoot out an electric shockwave that you’ll need to jump over. Simply jump over the wave, towards the King Jellyfish boss and when you get close, hit him with your spatula or Patrick’s belly.

This will knock one bar off of his health and will make him a little bit harder to hit next time. However, simply repeat the process and avoid the blue jellyfish he sends out to try and sting you. Once you’ve done this three times in total, you’ll have beaten the SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated King Jellyfish and can pick up the soothing jelly and return it to Squidward in exchange for a Golden Spatula.
After players defeat the King Jellyfish boss, they will unlock the “Jellyfish Jam” achievement, which is one of the many collectibles in the game. In order to get them all, you’ll have to play through the main story, find all of Patrick’s Lost Socks, collect all of the Golden Spatulas, and more.
