Is this the coolest Hot Wheels set ever?
Hot Wheels can finally stop producing die-cast cars because it has peaked with the introduction of the new Hot Wheels Jurassic ParkJeep Wrangler, complete with an injured Dr. Ian Malcolm in the rear. We'll give it a 9.5 out of 10, but only because the figurine doesn't look anything like Jeff Goldblum. We also appreciate the deep-V shirt, but Hot Wheels also failed to accurately represent Goldblum's sexy chest hair.
This all-new set was first discovered by The Drive and is available for just $30 from Mattel Creations' website. It's officially the cheapest way to get an official Jurassic Park car, and the Wrangler is, without a doubt, the coolest car featured in the famous franchise.

Hot Wheels is introducing this new set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic film. It's the first appearance of the '93 Wrangler Sahara in Hot Wheels format, and it's all metal. The livery is 100% correct, right down to the number 10 on the side. The Wrangler is also equipped with Real Riders fifteen52 wheels and ammo boxes on either side of Dr. Malcolm.
Unfortunately, this Jeep will never be pushed around the carpet, as it's meant for display. The window box displays the car in the right setting, right next to the broken fences of the Tyrannosaurus Rex enclosure. The outer box comes with Jurassic Park imagery, showing the moments leading up to Dr. Malcolm finding himself perched on the Wrangler's bed. From the T-Rex enjoying a scared, greedy lawyer as a late-night snack to Malcom trying to lead the T-Rex away with a flare and getting injured in the process.

If you're not too precious about keeping it pristine, you can remove it, but Mattel states it can't be used with any Hot Wheels sets. If you were hoping to send Dr. Malcolm down the famous Loop Star, it won't work. That said, you can have fun in other ways; we recommend buying the Jurassic World Legacy Collection set that includes the ill-fated Ford Bronco and the all-important dinosaur. It's roughly $68 via Walmart.
In case you missed it, Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge is also nearing completion, but you can catch up on Peacock. The winner of this new and expensive series will also be immortalized as an official die-cast car.
It won't be as cool as this Jeep, but it will take something special to dethrone this new set as the coolest ever.
