Hero MotoCorp has released a new teaser which confirms the upcoming motorcycle as the updated version of the Hero Xtreme 160R. On top of that, the new teaser also reveals some of the features of the upcoming motorcycle as well.
According to the latest teaser video, the upcoming updated iteration of the Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle comes equipped with more sophisticated USD forks at the front. On top of that, the model also seems to sport a new engine cover along with a cleaner-looking rear license plate holder.
That being said, other details such as the alloy wheels, exhaust, disc brakes and body panels on the upcoming Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle are likely to remain similar to the outgoing version. This means the facelifted model is likely to look similar to the outgoing model in terms of design.
That being said, the updated Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle is likely to be powered by the same tried-and-tested 163cc, air-cooled, SOHC engine. This engine in the outgoing version of the Hero Xtreme 160R produces 15bhp at 8,500rpm and 14Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
However, there is a possibility that this engine could be tuned for more peak power. This will also mean that the updated Hero Xtreme 160R could have a different engine character compared to the outgoing model.
In terms of features, we expect the upcoming updated version of the Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle to come equipped with more features. This includes features such as Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes, and more.
That being said, the upcoming iteration of the Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle is expected to be launched on June 14. We also expect this updated motorcycle to better compete against its main competitors in the segment.
