Gogoro, known for its e-scooters and battery-swapping ecosystems, has announced an expanded partnership with Bikebank in Korea. The collaboration will bring Gogoro services to Korean consumers under the Dotstation brand, building on earlier B2B advances in the market.
Bikebank, a business specializing in micromobility solutions, is first for couriers. The company now established Dotstation, a consumer-facing subsidiary that collaborates exclusively with Gogoro. Dotstation is also working with the Ministry of Environment and local governments to construct battery-swapping stations and promote sustainable transportation in the country.
“Together with Gogoro, we are accelerating the transformation of urban mobility in Korea. We created Dotstation to lead us forward into a new era of sustainable urban transportation that provides a path for Korean consumers to embrace sustainability in a new and practical way,” said Minkyu Kim, CEO of Bikebank. “Dotstation is expanding Gogoro battery swapping services to eight Korean cities, and we anticipate launching more battery swapping locations this year.”
Gogoro and Bikebank have not disclosed projected sales for scooters purchased via DotStation.
So far, Bikebank says it has opened two Dotstation retail stores and expanded its battery-swapping network to over 70 stations in cities such as Daegu, Sejong, Changwon, Incheon, Gyeongsan, Gyeonggi, and Ulsan.

Gogoro entered the B2B market in Seoul for food deliveries in 2019 through a partnership with TIC Corporations, which appears to have since moved to Bikebank. The company launched the Gogoro 2 Utility scooter, a B2B version tailored for logistics and delivery fleets. The partnership between Gogoro and Bikebank has also attracted the participation of leading food delivery companies in Korea, including Logiall and Manna Plus.
Gogoro’s battery-swapping network, known as the Gogoro Network, currently comprises over 12,000 stations at more than 2,500 locations in Taiwan. According to company data, it supports over 540,000 riders and has facilitated over 465 million total battery swaps, saving more than 650,000 tons of CO2 emissions since its launch.
