G-Power, a tuning company, offers software and hardware improvements for the BMW X5 M. Under the hood of the SUV, up to 800 horsepower rages in the final stage. The BMW X5 (type F95) is now available as a M variant with a Competition V8 X-Drive that produces 625 horsepower and 750 Nm from a four-liter bi-turbo V8 engine. The nearly 2.4-ton SUV has a sprint time of 3.8 seconds and a peak speed of 300 km/h in this series specification.
There should be those who can’t keep up with them. They may rely on G-Power, a tuner based in Aichach, Bavaria. With the GP-700 software upgrade, the Bavarian eight-power cylinder’s is increased to 700 hp. The maximum torque jumps 100 Nm to 850 Nm. The new engine control will set you back 2,495 euros.
On 800 horsepower for around 22,000 euros
When combined with the GP-800 package, the X5 M reaches its pinnacle. The above-mentioned methods are supplemented by two bigger exhaust gas turbochargers. This combination gives the X5 800 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque. The buyer charges 4,595 euros for the software and 5,950 euros for the bigger chargers, in addition to the exhaust system and downpipes already indicated.
Furthermore, the Bayern SUV may be fitted with new wheels. G-Power offers its own forged wheels, the Hurricane RS and Hurricane RR, ready to install in 11×23 inch sizes. The pricing per unit starts at 1,785 euros.
For the BMW X5 M Competition, G-Power provides a variety of performance levels. On top, there is a maximum of 175 horsepower. But suddenly there’s a bill for about 22,000 euros.
