XPENG’s 2026 vehicle deliveries continue to be notably lower than a year before. Though, this month, they at least grew significantly compared to the month before. With 27,415 deliveries in March, XPENG’s vehicle sales were down 17.44% compared to March 2025 (33,205 deliveries), but they were up 79.7% compared to February 2026 (15,256 deliveries). Note that I’m including two versions of each chart, as static images show better for some people and embedded charts show better for others. Overall in the first quarter, XPENG had 62,682 vehicle deliveries, a drop of 33.3% year over year. However, there is still plenty of hope for the future. “On March 25, 2026, XPENG introduced a three-year strategy for Latin America and officially entered the Mexican market, marking a major milestone in its global expansion,” the company writes.“Under this strategy, the Company plans to launch both pure electric and range-extended electric models in 2027, laying the groundwork for broader market coverage and targeting a leading position in the region by 2028.” We’ll see what that brings, but I do expect we’ll see vehicle sales growth again eventually.
