Its volume production will commence at the Graz plant in Austria. The G9L was previously launched in China with a starting price of 241,800 yuan (36,050 USD). The Xpeng G9L is a large SUV with dimensions of 5120/1999/1782 mm and a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. It features headlamps from Huawei that can project images on the road and show movies via a 98-inch external projection. The G9L is available in five body shades: green, purple, black, gray, and white. Three wheel sizes are available: R20, R21, and R22. The Xpeng G9L The interior of the Xpeng G9L boasts four color schemes: white, black, red, and orange. Despite boasting a 5.1-meter body, the new model is available with five seats only. Its interior adopts a large touchscreen, a thin LCD instrument cluster, an augmented reality display, a 9-inch streaming rearview mirror, a touchscreen for the rear passenger, and a ceiling-mounted 21.4-inch screen. This large crossover is equipped with three Turing AI chips for 2,250 TOPS of computing power. The Xpeng G9L has four soft-closing doors. It also offers a 12.5-liter built-in fridge. The car’s seats are heated, ventilated, and massaged. There is a 50W wireless phone charger and a folding table in the rear armrest. The car adopts 33 speakers and a 1,152-liter trunk. The G9L’s chassis boasts the rear-wheel steering technology. As a result, this model’s turning radius is 4.96 meters. Interior of the Xpeng G9L The all-electric Xpeng G9L comes standard with a single electric motor on the rear axle. Its peak power is 270 kW (362 hp), suitable for a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. It can run up to 702 km on a full 91.9 kWh LFP battery charge. The dual-motor AWD variant of the G9L EV adds a 160 kW (215 hp) electric motor in the front axle. The combined peak power output of the system is 430 kW (577 hp). This version can run up to 660 km on a single charge, thanks to the same 91.9 kWh battery. There is also a bigger 110 kWh pack for 755 km. The Xpeng G9L EREV comes with a dual-motor AWD as standard. Its powertrain comprises a front e-motor for 160 kW combined with a rear one producing 230 kW (308 hp). The combined peak power output of this version is 370 kW (496 hp). It speeds up to 100 km/h in 4.95 seconds. A CALB-made 63.3 kWh LFP battery powers this system, ensuring 435 km of electric range under CLTC conditions. The G9L EREV adopts a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol-powered engine for 110 kW (148 hp) that acts as a generator. Thanks to a 60-liter fuel tank, the G9L has a mixed range of 1,602 km (CLTC). The Xpeng G9L The domestic price range of the Xpeng G9L before discounts is 241,800 – 319,800 yuan (36,050 – 47,680 USD) in China. However, the brand sticks to the strategy of pushing its overseas presence. As a result, the G9L will hit global markets on October 12 at the Paris Auto Show 2026. The car for Europe will be assembled at the Magna Steyr plant in Austria. According to China EV DataTracker, Xpeng sold 241,111 units from January to August 2026, down 10.5% Year-Over-Year. The Guangzhou-based automaker set an ambitious target of selling 600,000 vehicles by the end of the year. It means Xpeng needs to sell around 89,750 units monthly for the next four months.
