These are display vehicles not intended to be sold. This 5.1-meter family driver with rear-wheel steering previously began presales at 259,800 yuan (38,530 USD). On August 17, Xpeng officially disclosed that the G9L crossover arrived for display at 119 showrooms across 19 administrative divisions in China. The highest number of showrooms with the displayed G9L was registered in Zhejiang Province, with 28 stores. The cars are presented in showrooms with various body colors and interior shades. It is worth noting that China EV DataTracker shows that Xpeng handed over 28,327 units, down 16% Year-Over-Year. The large Xpeng G9L crossover boasts hefty dimensions of 5120/1999/1782 mm with a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. It adopts a closed front end with an active air intake, an LED running light strip, and headlights integrated into the front bumper. The G9L rides on 22-inch rims. Other highlights include flush door handles, a single taillight unit, and a slightly slanted roofline. The car’s interior adopts a large 17.3-inch floating screen and a thin 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster. Other highlights of this SUV’s cabin are an 88-inch augmented reality head-up display, a 9-inch streaming rearview mirror, 24-way power-adjusted front seats, a zero-gravity front passenger seat, and 33 speakers. Credit: Xpeng The all-electric Xpeng G9L comes standard with a single electric motor on the rear axle. Its peak power is 270 kW (362 hp), suitable for a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. It can run up to 702 km on a full 91.9 kWh LFP battery charge. The dual-motor AWD variant of the G9L EV adds a 160 kW (215 hp) electric motor in the front axle. The combined peak power output of the system is 430 kW (577 hp). This version can run up to 660 km on a single charge, thanks to the same 91.9 kWh battery. There is also a bigger 110 kWh pack for 755 km. The Xpeng G9L EREV comes with a dual-motor AWD as standard. Its powertrain comprises a front e-motor for 160 kW combined with a rear one producing 230 kW (308 hp). The combined peak power output of this version is 370 kW (496 hp). It speeds up to 100 km/h in 4.95 seconds. A CALB-made 63.3 kWh LFP battery powers this system, ensuring 435 km of electric range under CLTC conditions. The G9L EREV adopts a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol-powered engine for 110 kW (148 hp) that acts as a generator. Thanks to a 60-liter fuel tank, the G9L has a mixed range of 1,602 km (CLTC).
