This model started sales in China at 123,800 yuan (18,290 USD) under the Mona L03 name. It is a 4.6-meter fastback SUV that aims to fight for a market share with the cheaper Atto 2 EV and the Leapmotor B10. Xpeng held the launch ceremony in Munich with a reason. It aims to leverage its European footprint, betting on the high-end assisted driving tech. The L03 will be sold in 64 overseas markets with Advanced Intelligent Driving system based on the Google Maps Auto Software Development Kit (SDK). Thanks to this system and a pair of Turing AI chips, the L03 will support the address-to-address Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) function. THe Xpeng Mona L03 Xpeng actively develops European localization by running a local R&D center and manufacturing cars at the Magna Steyr plant in Austria. It has over 150 selling points across the region. Moreover, the automaker aims to launch over 1,000 charging stations in 13 European countries. Trims & prices of the global Xpeng L03 The Xpeng L03 became available for purchase in Europe with five trim levels: four BEV and one EREV (range extender). The entry-level BEV version of the L03 is called RWD Standard Range. It’s priced at 35,600 EUR (40,740 USD) in Germany, offering a 58.3 kWh LFP battery for 445 km of WLTP range paired with an electric motor in the rear axle for 180 kW (241 hp). The next RWD Long Range trim costs 38,600 EUR (44,140 USD). Its core feature is a bigger 71.2 kWh LFP pack for 520 km of range. The Xpeng L03 The next version of the Xpeng L03 for Europe is called AWD Performance. This car is available only with rear-wheel drive in China. However, the European version boasts a dual-motor AWD with a combined power output of 285 kW (382 hp). It has the same 71.2 kWh pack for 440 km of range under WLTP conditions. The price of this variant is 41,600 EUR (47,575 USD) in Germany. The top-trim L03 AWD Performance Ultra costs 46,600 EUR (53,290 USD). As mentioned, the Xpeng L03 is also available for purchase in Europe as a range extender. This powertrain option has a single trim level priced at 38,600 EUR (44,140 USD). It has a 1.5-liter Euro 6b petrol-powered engine for 63 kW (84 hp) that acts as a generator, sending power to a 37.25 kWh LFP battery pack. This vehicle has a single e-motor in the rear axle for 180 kW. It can run up to 215 km in electric mode. Thanks to a 42-liter fuel tank, it can drive up to 1,017 km with a range extender turned on. Briefly about the Xpeng L03 The Xpeng L03 is a compact fastback SUV designed by Juanma Lopez, who previously worked at Lamborghini, Audi, Seat, and Ferrari. The new car aligns with the latest deign language of the brand’s Mona series. Its fine features include semi-hidden door handles, a ducktail spoiler, and a 102-liter frunk (for the BEV version). Dimensions of the L03 are 4650/1920/1600 mm with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Interior of the Xpeng L03 Inside, the Xpeng L03 adopts a 15.6-inch touchscreen. According to Xpeng, over 72% of the interior of the Xpeng Mona L03 is covered with soft-touch materials. The car has no conventional instrument cluster. Instead, it comes standard with a 26.8-inch head-up display. Its panoramic sunroof adopts a double-layered silver-plated technology, boasting a UV-blocking rate of over 99.9% and a visible light blocking rate of over 97%. In China, the Xpeng L03 BEV comes standard with a single electric motor for 183 kW (245 hp). It is paired with two LFP battery options for 56 and 69 kWh. The M03’s range lies between 505 and 650 km under CLTC conditions. The EREV variant of the car adopts the same e-motor, adding a 1.5-liter engine for 70 kW (94 hp). This variant can run up to 257 km in electric mode. The Xpeng L03 BEV costs 123,800 – 156,800 yuan (18,290 – 23,165 USD). The EREV version is available for 123,800 – 146,800 yuan (18,290 – 21,690 USD). The Xpeng L03 got 46,859 orders in one hour after the launch. Accroding to China EV DataTracker, Xpeng’s global sales volume reached 165,977 units in H1 2026, down 15.8 % Year-Over-Year.
