Set to be fully revealed on 8-March, we now have our first look at the 2022 CX-60's interior, and boy is it quite a tease.
The 13-second video plays up the car's premium dreams, giving us a quick look at the interior's textures: there's light-coloured wood, smooth textiles, leather, and chrome trims. Certainly the look of luxury.
Mazda says the cabin is themed around the Japanese word 'Ma', which centres around a coming together of interior design and the natural world outside, explaining the use of such materials.
Sitting in Mazda's Large Product Group – which also includes the global CX-80, and US-only CX-70, CX-90 – the CX-60 is Mazda's first plug-in hybrid (PHEV). This means it'll get a petrol-electric 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor to provide a total system output of over 300 PS.
Much like the three-row CX-80, the CX-60 is earmarked to overseas markets, meaning Europe, Japan, and other Asian markets including Malaysia.
