The new face is inspired by the R34 Skyline GT-R.
The 2024 Nissan GT-R has been revealed, with Nissan giving yet another facelift to the super sports car that's nearly old enough to drive. At the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon, where Nissan will also showcase a new special edition Nissan Z, the Japanese automaker took the wraps off the latest facelift of the R35 GT-R, with a newly designed front end inspired by the R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R and two special edition models for the Japanese market.
What hasn't changed is the VR38DETT engine under the hood, which displaces 3.8 liters in a twin-turbo V6 configuration and generates up to 591 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque in GT-R Nismo and Nismo Special Edition guise. In lesser trims, the motor is detuned to produce 562 hp and 470 lb-ft, which is slightly less than the base version of the GT-R in the US at present.
As ever, power is sent to an all-wheel-drive system via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
This is a breaking story, more information is being added.
