All 2023 Jeep Wagoneer models feature a new twin-turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine, which replaces the 5.7-liter V-8 engine in the 2022 Wagoneer. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the twin-turbo engine generates 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque.
The estimated gas mileage of the 2023 Wagoneer is not yet available. However, one of the reasons why Jeep replaced the V-8 engine is the new twin-turbo inline-six engine is more efficient. The 2023 Wagoneer also offers a blacked-out Carbide appearance package. It features black exterior trim detailing, gloss-black wheels, a panoramic tri-pane sunroof, and unique interior trim and upholstery. While Stellantis announced the Carbide appearance package on the same day that it revealed the changes for the 2023 Wagoneer, it’s available for the 2022 Wagoneer too. The automaker stated that the Wagoneer Carbide will be released in Spring 2022.
