The upcoming motorcycles will sit below Triumph’s current entry-level offering Trident 660.
Bajaj and Triumph announced their partnership two years ago in January 2020, when Triumph decided to build affordable single-cylinder motorcycles for the emerging markets. After exactly two years from that date, the first test mules of the upcoming bike were spotted testing.
So here is what we know so far about Bajaj-Triumph’s upcoming affordable motorcycle.

The spy shots give us an idea that the upcoming motorcycle will employ a single-cylinder engine. And although the exact displacement of this motorcycle remains a mystery, expect the new bikes to be in between 350-500cc.
Triumph is testing not one but two different motorcycles!
Looking at these images, it is clear that Triumph is testing not one but two different motorcycles. The first test mule was spotted, with 17-inch wheels at both front and rear. The second test mule sported a Scrambler-type body style with larger 19-inch wheels at the front and smaller 17-inch rear wheels.
The Triumph test mule comes with 17-inch wheels at both front and rear featured a styling identical to the Street Twin.
The Scrambler-styled motorcycle, on the other hand, had knuckle guards and a different exhaust can.
What do both test mules have in common?

The test mules were spotted with upside-down forks at the front and a single mono-shock setup at the rear. They also featured
- A full-LED lighting setup
- Radially mounted front calipers
- TFT display
Engine and Brake Details
The Scrambler variant of the motorcycle will feature a 19 inch wheels at the front and a smaller 17 inch wheels at the rear
The side budges, design of the air intake covers, and the fake cooling fins seem to have taken inspiration from Triumph’s Bonneville range of engines. Expect the new powertrain to be liquid-cooled because the spied test mule was spotted with a radiator at the front. Unlike the Bonneville range, the upcoming motorcycle has a single-sided exhaust.
Expect the upcoming motorcycle from Triumph to get a single disc setup at both its front and rear. A dual-channel ABS will also be offered as a standard.
Expected Price and Launch Timeline
The upcoming motorcycle will use a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine
Expect Triumph to unveil the final production model by the end of 2022 or the first half of 2023.
As far as the prices are concerned, expect these upcoming models to cost around Rs 3.5 to 4.5 lakh range.
