At this coming weekend’s Carlist.my MAA DRIVE Test and Buy event that’s happening at the Setia City Convention Centre, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia will be launching a special edition Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR.
The first of three special edition ALLSTAR models, the accessorized Polo hatchback will soon be followed by the Vento ALLSTAR later this month, with the Jetta ALLSTAR rounding up the ALLSTAR triplets by June.
The Polo ALLSTAR, which is priced at RM72,888*. Available in Carbon Steel Grey, Reflex Silver, Candy White and Flash Red, the model comes with RM6,000 worth of exclusive accessories such as leather seats, aluminium pedals, rear spoiler, black door strips, ‘ALLSTAR’ scuff plates, emblems and carpet mats.
Mechanically, the Polo ALLSTAR remains unchanged, retaining the standard Polo’s 1.6-litre naturally aspirated MPI engine paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 105 PS of power and 153 Nm of torque, with a claimed fuel consumption of 6.3-litre/100 km.
The Polo ALLSTAR will make its first public appearance at the Carlist.my MAA DRIVE event happening on the 13th and 14th May 2017 at Setia City Convention Centre. There will also be a nationwide Volkswagen showroom event on 14th May 2017, where members of the public can visit their nearest authorised dealer to get up close with the Polo ALLSTAR.
This weekend’s DRIVE event will allow members of the public to shop, test drive and compare more than 50 models from 15 different car brands in one location.
