The 12.12 sale is happening in a couple of days’ time but Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) will be celebrating one day earlier on 11.12 (or 11 December 2020, to be clearer). VPCM will be hosting an Instagram “Live With” online show tomorrow, featuring local celebrities and influencers: Pekin Ibrahim, Fara Fauzana and Clarence Wong.
This Instagram “Live With” is a first in the industry, and is a collaboration between Facebook Malaysia and Volkswagen. This first-of-its-kind event will see the celebrities doing a virtual walk-through of three Volkswagen models, while highlighting key unique selling points and answering viewers’ questions live.
Those who tune in to watch will also stand a chance to win an Apple iPhone 12.
Starting off the Instagram “Live With” event on the 11 December will be influencer Clarence Wong. He will “discover” the new Passat R-Line at 12:30 pm. The latest model in the Volkswagen line-up, the dynamic sedan is decked with R-Line performance interior and exterior trims that enhances its overall appearance.
Meanwhile, Radio DJ and personality Fara Fauzana will go live at 4:30 pm with the all-new Tiguan Allspace Highline. The 7-seater SUV boasts a whopping 1,775 litres of boot space, making it the best in its segment.

We need to be where our customers are and that is in the palm of their hands. With new formats such as Instagram LIVE With, this will allow us to connect and reach a wider audience regardless of location. This pilot collaboration with Facebook will be the first of many to come,” said Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM.
Furthermore, Volkswagen dealerships will be holding their own celebrations with a nationwide online showroom event on the 12 and 13 December, from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
