Last week, in conjunction with the Volkswagen Fest 2018, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) launched the special edition ‘JOIN’ range of its vehicle line-up. The ‘JOIN’ range features an accessories package targeted at customers who wish to stand out. It is available for the Polo, Vento (Comfortline and Highline), Tiguan Highline, and Passat Comfortline, and includes side scuff plates, rear spoiler, trunk garnish, VW tint, and other exclusive add-ons worth up to RM12,000 (depending on model).
“Whilst our core models are popular on their own, we believe customers are also looking out for an extra touch of exclusivity on their cars. The introduction of the ‘JOIN’ range, and other special edition models is something we are actively doing in our bid to offer to our customers these options with value-added benefits,” said Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM.
The VW Polo ‘JOIN’ is priced at RM81,990 and comes with side scuff plates, trunk garnish, rear spoiler in black, side mouldings, leather seats and VW tint worth RM7,000. The Polo is available in Candy White, Carbon Steel Grey, Flash Red, and Reflex Silver.
The VW Vento Comfortline and Highline ‘JOIN’ are priced at RM91,690 and RM98,490 respectively. The ‘JOIN’ accessories are similar to the Polo’s. Body colour choices are Candy White and Carbon Steel Grey (Comfortline), and Carbon Steel Grey and Deep Black (Highline).
The Tiguan Highline ‘JOIN’ is RM175,990 and comes with additional ‘JOIN’ front design element, rear spoiler, trunk garnish, chrome exhaust tip, load lip protector, footboards and VW tint worth RM10,000. It is available in Deep Black, Pure White, and Tungsten Silver.
Last, but not least, the Passat Comfortline ‘JOIN’ is RM188,690. It gets side scuff plates, aluminium sport pedals, new 18″ Marseille alloy wheels, and VW tint worth RM12,000. Body colour choices are Deep Black, Manganese Grey, Pure White, and Reflex Silver.
All prices quoted are before promotion, SST Price Protection Scheme, insurance and registration. The Price Protection Scheme is applicable to all Volkswagen vehicles registered before 30 November 2018, and while stocks last. All new VW vehicles are covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, 3-year free maintenance, and 5-year roadside assistance package.
The ‘JOIN’ range is available on Lazada with limited units (25) on offer until 30 October 2018. You need only pay the retail price of the car to receive the ‘JOIN’ accessories package (free). To make a booking for a ‘JOIN’ vehicle on Lazada, you are required to pay a booking fee of RM799 (for Polo and Vento) or RM1,699 (for Passat or Tiguan) via Lazada Wallet, credit card or online banking transfer. Subsequent to this, you will be contacted by a Volkswagen representative for arrangements on your preferred dealership, and to complete the registration and delivery of the vehicle.
