2022 is going to be a busy year for BMW. The M Division will celebrate 50God’ An anniversary, and on the occasion of the event, for the faster division, quite a few premieres are planned. The new year will begin in full force with the unveiling of the iX M60 as the second electric M car ever, with towards the end it will go into production of the plug-in XM hybrid SUV as the first dedicated M model since the M1.
Between these two, there is also going to be a high-performance vehicle that amateurs have been waiting to see for many decades. Yes, we are talking about the M3 Touring, which will finally be a serial production model and not a one-off as was the case with the long-roofed M3 E46. To make the wait easier, a talented artist Sugarchow Allowed us to kindly share its excellent rendition of the Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate.
It can be argued that these digital design exercises may pass as the real deal, even though they were created by a third party. The fast cart has long been, and if this processing is any indication, it was worth the wait. With BMW’s local rivals offering this type of practical sports car for decades, the M3 Touring may not be coming soon enough.

As you may have heard by now, the car was not originally designed, but former M CEO Marcus Flash was a big promoter of the project in discussions with company executives. More with xDrive and the automatic transmission.
Production is reportedly starting in November 2022 and logic tells us that the M3 Touring will be based on the LCI 3 Series, meaning it should have the iDrive 8 and the rest of the changes planned for the 3er mid-cycle update. By the time the second half of the G21’s production cycle arrives, it can only be said that the sports car will have a relatively short lifespan of about three years.
