German tuning house Mansory has revealed its F8XX update package for the Ferrari F8 Spider. Like the F8XX version of the F8 Tributo, the Spider gives the same bonkers treatment to the topless version of the Ferrari F8.
Mansory has showcased the all-new F8XX Spider in a beautiful British Racing Green paint scheme with yellow stripes and F8XX decals on the doors. The F8XX Spider as is the case with almost every Mansory custom car sports a huge amount of carbon fibre.
These carbon fibre parts are of the forged carbon variety and are used on sections near the headlights, on the front bumper, the extended front splitter element and the flics on the sides of the front bumper. The wing mirrors, door handles, side air intakes, side skirts, rear winglets, decklid and the diffuser are also finished in the lightweight stuff.
The F8XX rides on YT.5 Air wheels that are finished in black and feature forged carbon aero parts. The F8XX Spider features a staggered wheel setup 20-inches at the front and 21-inch units at the rear.
The interiors of the Ferrari F8 Spider have also been overhauled by Mansory as part of the F8XX package with this show car featuring bright green leather on the steering wheel, dashboard, door cards and seats.
Also seen are bright yellow highlights including the surrounds for the air vents, door handles, cross stitching and piping on the seats, carpets, and racing harness-style seat belts. The Italian Flag motif is seen on the paddle shifters, on the stitching on the steering wheel and on the exterior of the car.
Mansory of course will allow customers to customise their own F8XX Spiders in whatever colour they wish, which should ensure that no two F8XX will be identical unless the owners wish to.
While many owners will drool over the cosmetic and aerodynamic changes, those who prefer to have a bit of fun behind the wheel will also appreciate that Mansory has done with the F8’s iconic 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that has been fettled so that it now develops 868bhp and 980Nm of peak torque that is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
The F8XX pushes out 158bhp and 130Nm of peak torque more than the standard F8 Spider thanks to tweaked turbos and high-performance downpipes, the sound of which is vocalised through the custom car’s four exhaust tips that stick out of the Mansory-tuned Ferrari’s rear bumper and diffuser element.
Thoughts On The Mansory F8XX Spider
The Mansory F8XX sees the German tuner once again push a Ferrari to a whole new level of craziness. With its bonkers looks and tuned engine, the Mansory F8XX will surely stand out from the rest of the supercars we seen on the roads.
