Subaru has today raised the prices across some of its most popular models, with the Japanese brand blaming rising production costs for the increases.
But in goods news for those already in the queue, existing orders (so those already waiting for their vehicle to be delivered) will be spared the increase.
From today, Subaru shoppers will face an $800 increase in the RRP across all models in the Impreza, Outback and XV range.
The blame, says Subaru, is the “increase in costs associated with production and logistics”, as the world continues to struggle with logistics issues ands stock shortages.
The new Subaru pricing list is as follows:
MY22 Subaru Impreza
MY22 Subaru Outback
MY22 Subaru XV
These increases join those already applied to the MY23 Subaru BRZ, which saw range-wide price increases of between $1300 and $1400, with Subaru again blaming production costs.
