What will ZS EV facelift offer?
The car will offer LED headlamps with DRLs
The new ZS EV will get similar updates as the International-spec car. The spy video shows that the new ZS EV comes with a tweaked bumper design and a new closed-off grille as well. The biggest change at the front is the new set of headlamps.
The new battery pack will increase the current range as well
MG has upgraded the headlamps to LED projector lamps discarding the old power-hungry halogen lamps. The car also gets new alloy wheels but the rear of the updated ZS EV looks similar to the current version.
The cabin will get updated with a slew of luxury features
Inside, the updated ZS EV facelift will look exactly like the MG Astor. It gets a dual-tone theme with a large touchscreen infotainment system in the middle. It will come with an all-digital 7.0-inch instrument cluster that will replace the old analogue units.
The new ZS will have a long list of changes, including a completely revised front end. The grille is now gone
With the facelift, MG will update the feature list as well. The video shows the updated ZS EV with the radar positioned at the front grille and cameras positioned centrally on the windshield. It indicates the new ZS EV will offer features like Autonomous Driving Assistance System (ADAS) and 360-degree camera system as well.

Apart from the updated exterior, cabin, and features, MG Motor will add a bigger battery pack to the ZS EV. That updated ZS EV will come with a 51 kWh battery pack that will replace the 44.5 kWh unit. MG is yet to announce the range of the new battery pack officially but it is likely to be around 480 km.
Not much will change in the rear design
The current ZS EV offers a claimed range of 419 km on a single charge. With the updated battery pack, the range should be close to 500 km.
MG is likely to offer the same 143 PS motor mounted at the front axle of the vehicle. However, with the larger battery pack, MG can offer a more powerful electric motor as well. The updated ZS EV will take on the Hyundai Kona EV and will be much more expensive than the Tata Nexon EV.
