The new M2 has only been out for a few weeks, and this one looks to have been severely damaged it got to its owner.

Well, that didn’t take long. The 2023 BMW M2 has only been on sale for a few weeks, and one example has already been severely damaged in a crash.
Video published by user g2_mike to Instagram on Wednesday displays what appears to be the world’s first 2023 BMW M2 crash. The clip shows a short walk-around of the car’s rear end, ending on the right section, which is smashed in. A chunk of the bumper is missing, the taillight is trashed, and the right rear fender is crumpled.
Keen-eyed viewers will spot the plastic wrapping on the seats and the Herb Chambers license plate frame—Herb Chambers is a dealership conglomerate that operates around 60 franchises in the Boston, Massachusetts area, including two BMW dealerships. According to the video’s original publisher, the M2 in question was being driven by an employee of the dealership when it was rear-ended.
The new M2 is in high demand, as you can imagine. But thankfully the video’s publisher says a replacement car has already been sourced for the buyer. We’re sure that wasn’t a fun phone call.
