A more powerful version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle has been in development for quite some time. Now, recent spy shots reveal that the motorcycle in question is closer to production than ever before.
Analysing these spy shots of the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan ‘450’ motorcycle reveals more than a few interesting details such as LED headlamps, USD forks at the front, a fully digital instrument cluster, LED turn indicators, 19-inch wheels at the front, split seats, and a new liquid-cooled powertrain. and more.

We also expect the new digital instrument cluster to support Bluetooth connectivity, and support features such as call alert, turn-by-turn navigation, incoming message notification, ride log, maintenance schedule, and more.
Other than that, the new liquid-cooled powertrain in the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a single-cylinder unit and we expect this 450cc engine to produce around 35bhp of peak power and 40Nm of peak torque.

In addition to that, we expect this powertrain to come mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a tall 6th gear instead of a 5-speed gearbox. This will enable the motorcycle to stay at highway speeds at relatively lower engine speeds.
Thanks to this more powerful engine, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 can easily compete with more powerful motorcycles in the segment such as the KTM 390 Adventure, and BMW G310 GS.
That being said, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 motorcycle is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.6 lakh. Also, we expect the latter to be sold alongside the upcoming version as well.
