Rolls-Royce has become the byword for automotive excellence – and with good reason! Its cars pay extreme attention to detail when it comes to luxury and comfort, being literally whisper quiet when cruising. The Rolls-Royce Dawn has to be one of the most opulent open-top cars, but if you desire added exclusivity, the Silver Bullet limited edition might be what you’re looking for.
Set free on the roads surrounding the beautiful Lake Garda in Italy, the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet will be a rare sight with just 50 examples being built. Finished in a shade described as ‘ultra-metallic’ Brewster Silver, the elegant silhouette is certainly an attractive thing. The whole car harks back to other prestigious Rolls-Royce models such as the Silver Dawn, Silver King and Silver Silence.
Its distinctive shape is enhanced by a new Aero Cowling that gives the car an almost speedster-like profile with a pair of humps sloping from the front seats. The cowling features titanium details that has been ‘vapour blasted’ to produce a unique finish.
This latest batch of photography of the Silver Bullet in action aims to temps those who see themselves behind the wheel of what would be an excellent grand tourer. Gliding along mountain roads and crossing continents with ease, this will become a reality for the lucky few who placed an order with production of the model now underway.
The Dawn is powered by a 563bhp turbocharged 6.6-litre V12 engine – something Rolls-Royce describes as being adequate. 0-62mph takes just 5 seconds and the car has an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
Each Rolls-Royce is hand-crafted at the marque’s home of Goodwood in England. The production line is full of skilled craftspeople, each taking the upmost care in constructing these amazing cars. Woodworkers, metal polishers and upholsterers come together to create whatever Rolls-Royce’s customers desire. The range currently consists of the new Phantom, Wraith, Dawn and Cullinan SUV.
