PETALING JAYA: Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Automobiles Peugeot in Malaysia, has launched its latest 3S outlet in the country, Peugeot Kota Kinabalu.
“Four years ago, when we re-entered the Sabah market, we pledged to achieve a market share of 2 to 3% in Sabah within three years. Now, I am proud to say that we have a 14% market share among European passenger cars here. Peugeot Kota Kinabalu will further strengthen our position here,” said Naza Automotive Group, Naza Corporation Holdings group chief operating officer, Datuk Samson Anand George.
“Peugeot Kota Kinabalu will carry our full range of affordable products ranging from the 208 at only RM88,888, all the way to the 508 GT at RM204,188. This will include recent Malaysian Car of the Year Award winners, the 308 THP and 508 SW,” he added.
With an investment of RM1.5 million, Peugeot Kota Kinabalu measures 5,200 sq ft and features free Wi-Fi and a lounge for its customers.
Owned and operated by Boston Auto, the service centre has 3 bays with the capacity to service up to 12 units of cars per day. All cars will be serviced with genuine Peugeot parts by trained professionals.
The 3S centre will serve the state of Sabah and in particular the markets in Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Tamparuli and Tuaran.
Peugeot Kota Kinabalu is part of a nationwide expansion exercise by Nasim. It is the fifth new outlet launched by Nasim this year besides the launch of new outlets in Taiping, Petaling Jaya, Klang and Kajang.
These new outlets will contribute to Nasim’s target of selling 4,200 units this year.
Nasim currently has a total of 43 outlets nationwide in operation since embarking on a rapid network expansion four years ago.
All Peugeot models come with five-year warranty with unlimited mileage together with Nasim’s 24-hour Peugeot Assistance service, complimentary access to the Peugeot Lounge at Subang Airport and Peugeot Privilege membership, all to provide the best ownership experience for its customers.
