Audi launches the new Q7 in India priced at Rs 79.99 lakh (starting price). The new luxury SUV features a host of changes inside and out along with a new mild-hybrid powertrain. The company is accepting pre-bookings of the next-generation SUV for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.

Exterior Design & Dimensions
The exterior of the next-generation SUV features redesigned front & rear bumpers along with larger side skirts. The octagonal front grille now features a wider look for a premium and sleek appeal of the car.
Other changes include redesigned headlamps and taillamps along with a chrome treatment on the tailgate. However, the side profile of the car remains unchanged and features new 19-inch alloy wheels.
The SUV continues to feature the LED Matrix headlamps and LED tail lamps at the rear with dynamic turn indicators at both ends. Other features include approach lamps, roof rails, integrated spoiler and more.
The dimensions of the Q7 facelift has grown by 11mm in length as compared to the previous model and now stands at 5,063mm. Despite the increased length, the wheelbase on the new model remains unchanged.
Interior, Features & Technology
The interiors of the SUV have undergone significant changes over the previous model. The entire dashboard and centre console have been redesigned and now house three displays. This provides a modern and premium feel.
Interiors are decked in leather upholstery to offer maximum comfort for the occupants. Customers get to choose between two interior colours: Saiga Beige and Okapi Brown.

The new SUV also features the brand’s latest form of connected technology along with AI assistance for remote and voice operation of the vehicles’ features. The infotainment also features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Engine, Transmission & Safety
The new Q7 will be powered by a 3.0L V6 TFSI petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine comes mated to an eight-speed gearbox with power sent to all four wheels using the brand’s Quattro AWD technology.
The powertrain combination propels the SUV from 0 – 100kmph in 5.9 seconds and continues to reach an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.
The new Audi Q7 also features adaptive air suspension, and 7 Audi Drive Select drive modes: Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-Road, All-Road and Individual. Other driver-assist features included are Park Assist Plus with a 360-degree-view camera and Lane departure warning.
Warranty & Service Package
The Audi Q7 comes with a 2-year standard warranty, which can be extended up to 7 years. Customers also receive RSA (Road-Side Assistance) for 5 years, which can be extended up to 10 years. Finally, the company offers basic and comprehensive service plans for up to 7 years from the date of purchase.
