Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia has officially opened its 55th showroom. Owned and operated by authorized dealer, Sing Kwung Jidosha Sdn Bhd, this 3S (sales, service & spare parts) center is located at No. 44, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, 55200 Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur (as close to the city center as you can get). Sing Kwung Jidosha also has a Body & Paint facility for Mitsubishi vehicles nearby, making this technically a 4S center.

An investment of RM 1.5 million was put into these facilities to service Mitsubishi customers in the city. The 3S center has a built-up area of 30,000 square feet and comes with a fully-equipped workshop with parts storage area, 7 service bays with six hoists (maximum service capacity of up to 24 cars a day) and car wash (free for all Mitsubishi customers who serviced their cars here). Sing Kwung Jidosha’s also operates a Mitsubishi 4S center in Malacca.

With Sing Kwung Jidosha’s strong accomplishment in the southern region, we are confident that they will establish an even stronger presence here in Kuala Lumpur,” said Yang Won-Chul, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.
Speaking at the launch, Managing Director of Sing Kwung Jidosha Mr. Ng said “With our second Mitsubishi showroom in Malaysia, Sing Kwung Jidosha is optimistic of meeting customer’s higher level of expectations, be it sales or after sales.”
To commemorate the center’s opening, the dealership is running a ‘Count and Win’ contest where visitors and customers who guess the correct number of balloons in the Triton Adventure X Fullbox wins the grand prize of RM 1,500 worth of travel vouchers to Bali. This starts today (21 September) and ends on Sunday (25 September). During this period, Mitsubishi customers will also be offered a free vehicle inspection including checks on brakes as well as tire rotation. Customers can also enjoy 15% discount on selected vehicle parts and a 20% discount on labor for any Body & Paint repair.
MMM currently has a network of 55 showrooms (of which 47 are 3S) and 53 service outlets throughout Malaysia; there are 6 showrooms each in Sarawak and Sabah.
In the first 7 months of 2016, MMM has sold nearly 6,000 units of vehicles. Since its establishment in January 2005, MMM has recorded sales of over 100,000 units of vehicles in Malaysia. In the recent J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2016 Customer Service Index (CSI) study, MMM was ranked in the top 3 out of 16 automakers with 758 points of a possible 1,000 points in an overall service satisfaction among mass market brands in the CSI study.
The study, in its 14th year, is based on responses from 3,257 new vehicle owners who purchased their mass market brand vehicle between February 2014 and May 2015 and took their vehicles for service at an authorized service center between August 2015 and May 2016. Owner satisfaction is determined by service quality, service initiation, vehicle pick-up, service advisor, and service facility.
