Eagle-eyed showgoers at the first leg of the
Mitsubishi Life Kyaraban
would have spotted a sportier look to the new Xpander MPV.
Though not available on site (only the stock Xpander GLS is on display), a looping background video showed off how an accessorized version of the Xpander MPV would look like when decked out in genuine accessories.
Just take a look at the lead photo, and it’s very clear that the new Xpander’s taller ride height and lower profile 17-inch alloy wheels does favors to this body kit.
When all fitted together, the full body kit adds P 110,740 to the Xpander’s sticker price.
For those who want to get it piecemeal, the accessories fitted as are follows (check photos below):
Front Airdam – P 31,550
Side Airdam – P 31,525
Rear Airdam – P 29,910
Tailgate Spoiler – P 13,440
Hood Emblem – P 4,315
Takeshi Hara, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines President and CEO says they’ve started delivering new Xpander units to customers today after a lengthy delay brought on by the global supply chain issue.
The reception has been strong so far with the entire first allocation, made up of roughly 1,500 units, being sold out. This month, they’re expecting around 2,000 units to arrive, and another 2,500 in July as bottlenecks as their suppliers have started to ease.
