Motor Image Malaysia, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia, has announced the 10 finalists who will represent Malaysia in the upcoming MediaCorp Subaru Car Challenge 2017 – The Asian Face-Off in Singapore.
The group of 10 qualified for the finale in Singapore, after spending 8 hours and 9 minutes in the Subaru Palm Challenge 2017 – Malaysia Face-Off held earlier this month at Piazza, The Curve, Mutiara Damansara.
These participants qualified by keeping their palms on the vehicle at all times, taking only 5-minute breaks every six hours to have meals or visit the washroom. They also had to endure challenging conditions, such as a series of tough challenges, and not to mention the scorching heat. The Subaru Palm Challenge – Malaysia Face-Off 2017 was supported by Brooks, and Fitness First.
At the MediaCorp Subaru Car Challenge 2017 – The Asian Face-Off in Singapore, the 10 Malaysian finalists will face 390 other participants from Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam to win a brand new Subaru XV 2.0i-P.
Contestants also stand a chance to win cash prizes for being a Country Winner (awarded to the last person standing from each country); Asian Winner (awarded to the last person standing from all regional countries except Singapore); and a Country Team prize for the longest surviving country (calculated by adding each
individual team member’s time together).
