Can we please get ANY M3 Touring here in the US?
Manhart has finally debuted its MH3 650 Touring version of the BMW M3 Touring at the Tuning World Bodensee Fair in Germany. The model, which we first covered last fall when the company released renderings, debuts in baby blue with black accents as opposed to the company's famous gold and black colorway. More importantly, it features much more power out of the twin-turbo inline six-cylinder, producing 641 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.
This is an increase of 158 hp and 111 lb-ft of torque over the regular M3 Competition Touring which alone makes this upgrade worth it and only continues to get better since the company adds a full exterior body kit, lowering kit, and brand new exhaust.

The company hasn't gone into how it was able to get more power out of the system, citing only the fitment of the Manhart MHtronik Powerbox, but we do know how it made it louder, featuring a new rear exhaust by Remus with four 100 mm Manhart tailpipes and HJS sport downpipes. Poking out of the rear, the setup looks great, complemented wonderfully by the wagon's new stance and wheels.
Now sitting on adjustable H&R lowering springs, the sports wagon features 20-inch wheels in the front and 21-inch wheels in the back. Made by Yido Performance for Manhart, the black alloy wheels feature a concave design, with two of the spokes featuring blue accents that match the body color wrap.
Unlike the regular M3 Touring, the MH3 650 does feature a carbon roof, or well, at least a carbon-looking roof courtesy of a wrap. In fact, the vehicle hasn't been repainted at all; the company opting for a wrap in this instance.

The company's badging can be found in place of BMW's, along with the MH3 650 name across the sides and back. All of the other carbon accents like the front splitter, side skirts, and vent accents are real carbon fiber, joining the M Carbon package this specific car wears from the factory.
The only real issue we have with the vehicle visually is the big graphics on the sides of the wagon and the windshield. We can live with the M$ CSL-aping hood graphics, but these additions make the tasteful design look tacky. The tackiness doesn't end there for this vehicle, unfortunately, leading into the interior, where the only thing that was altered was the addition of a cheap knockoff of the Rolls-Royce Starlight Headliner.
It's not the worst thing we've ever seen, but it's certainly not needed in a sports car like this, and we hope the tuner doesn't continue the design trend in other suped-up BMWs.
