Petaling Jaya, 4 Jan 2018 – Limited editions of the popular Ford Ranger are now available, according to Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the sole distributor of Ford. There are two limited edition variants which are the Ranger WildTrak, which now comes in Meteor Grey, and the FX4 which comes in Cool White, and these are available at all Ford authorised dealers nationwide.
These new colours will join the existing Cool White and Pride Orange for the Ranger WildTrak and Meteor Grey for the FX4.
The 3.2L Ford Ranger WildTrak 4×4 in Meteor Grey has 200 PS and 470 Nm of torque at its disposal and is powerful enough to bulldoze through most terrains with ease. The WildTrak also features the latest SYNC™3 hands-free infotainment system that comes with an 8-inch touchscreen and supports Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto.
Meanwhile, the Ranger FX4 in Cool White has a smaller 2.2L Duratorq diesel engine for those who want to pay lower road tax. This engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic and has 160 PS and 385 Nm which should be enough for most, especially if you seldom carry loads. But if you do need to haul loads, the Ranger FX4 can handle 1 tonne capacity. The Ranger FX4 also features trims and accessories in matte black for the functional rollbar and 18-inch wheels.

The Ford Ranger WildTrak in Meteor Grey is priced at RM141,588 OTR without insurance while the Ford Ranger FX4 in Cool White is priced at RM121,888 OTR without insurance.
In addition, SDAC’s Ford website, www.sdacford.com.my, is now multilingual and includes Bahasa Malaysia and Simplified Chinese. It also has a user-friendly English chatbot to provide better customer experience.
