Here's what we can expect from the MY2024 Maverick.
A Ford dealer has shared details about the upcoming 2024 Maverick model year updates. Before we get into the new prices and how this affects 2023 customers, let's take a look at the changes coming to Ford's popular small truck.
Shared via the Maverick Truck Club forum, the original source (a Ford dealer) claims several updates will be applied. For the XLT grade with the optional Luxury Package, buyers will receive a modular hard drop-in bedliner as standard. Lariat models benefit from the most revisions. The Lariat Luxury Package is set to become standard and receives a spray-in bedliner as part of the bundle.
Wireless device charging forms part of the Lariat standard features, along with lane-keep assist and blind-spot monitoring. The CoPilot360 Assist safety suite is included and comprises adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, and rear parking sensors, among other things. Lastly, Lariat models will wear black-painted side mirror caps for 2024.

The Tremor, which was only introduced last year, also enjoys minor updates. These off-road biased models now receive hood and door decals, but customers can choose to exclude this if preferred. Sadly, the post claims the Off-Road Plus Appearance Package will be deleted.
Four colors – Alto Blue, Area 51, Avalanche Grey, and Cyber Orange – will be removed from the color palette, but Azure Gray and Terrain will be added in their stead.
On the engine front, the 2024 Maverick XL will receive the 2.0-liter motor with 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque as the standard powerplant; the 2.5-liter hybrid will become the optional powertrain but is only available for front-wheel drive models.
Pricing is expected to increase for MY2024. The XL FWD will retail for $23,400, with the AWD derivative at $25,620. The XL Hybrid weighs in with a $24,900 MSRP.

Moving on to the mid-spec models, expect to pay $26,315 for an XLT with front-wheel drive. Specify AWD, and the price jumps to $28,535. If you want an XLT Hybrid, that will set you back $27,815. Finally, we have the Lariat; this grade is only available in gas-powered AWD ($34,855) and Hybrid FWD ($34,135) guises.
If you're still on the waiting list for a MY2023 Maverick, there's no need to panic. “23MY Retail Orders that did not schedule in 23MY will be prioritized and front-loaded for scheduling in 24MY production,” writes the original poster. These retail orders will reportedly receive price protection via a private offer, which will be based on the MY2023 order. The amounts will be communicated to order holders shortly. This won't be offered for MY2024 to MY2025, though.
Ford
While this appears to be reliable material, we will only know for sure once Ford announces the official 2024 model year changes for the Maverick. Potential customers shouldn't have long to wait, though, as the Order Guide and Price List will be posted to Ford dealers in the week of July 10.
A week later, on July 17, order banks will open and the configurator will go live. Come October, Ford will give the OKTB (okay to buy), with cars expected to ship to customers and dealers then.
The Maverick has been in production since 2021, so we can expect a mid-life refresh to arrive soon. Perhaps this is the last minor update before the baby truck receives a significant makeover. While sales remain strong and demand is high, the threat of a new rival from Ram (in the form of the Rampage) may force Ford to pull out all of the stops.
