Ultra-exclusive Urus SUV only available to owners who purchased $3.5m track hypercar
If you couldn’t afford the wild $3.5 million Lamborghini Essenza SCV12, you won’t have a chance with the new 2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 Limited Edition – because it’s restricted to the 40 owners who bought the exotic track hypercar.
Created by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam bespoke division, the Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 features two-tone fluorescent green and black paint and racing decals to match the owner’s track-only Lambo, plus a set of huge 23-inch wheels and gloss black callipers.
Inside, there’s black Alcantara seats and carbon-fibre trim that features either a matte or gloss finish.
There’s also black anodised aluminium trim, red door handles and, not least of all, a silhouette of the Essenza SCV12 hypercar on the dash ahead of front passenger.
The same graphic is used on the kickplates, too.
Two further carbon-fibre plaques mark the supercar-maker’s 60th anniversary, with the second including details specific to each hypercar customer.
Of course, the Urus Performante misses out on the Essenza SCV12’s 620kW 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12.
Instead, the fast SUV keeps its 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that still manages to muster an impressive 490kW and 850Nm of torque.
That’s enough for a supercar-bothering 0-100km/h sprint of just 3.3 seconds and a 306km/h top speed.
Lamborghini hasn’t divulged the price the existing owners will have to pay for the special Urus, but it’s likely to be a healthy premium over the Urus Performante’s base price of $465,876 plus on-road costs – but a lot less than the €2.2 million ($A3.6m) they have already spent on the Essenza SCV12.
Lamborghini Ad Personam says owners also can customise or change the ultra-limited Lambo SUV to their heart’s content.
