- I-Pace now available with new Premium Black styling pack
The Jaguar I-Pace is now available with Amazon Alexa voice assistant functionality across the range. The technology upgrade for the brand’s electric SUV was revealed alongside a new Premium Black styling pack, and a new paint option.
The I-Pace is the first of the brand’s models to get the Amazon Alexa voice assistant upgrade, which will also be rolled across the Jaguar range. It’ll be available on new Jaguar models equipped with the Pivi Pro infotainment, and will also be made available to current owners via an over-the-air-update.
According to Jaguar, Alexa adds a number of additional voice command features to the I-Pace, enabling drivers to control the sat nav and music playback, along with managing their calendars, and checking the news and weather – just by asking.
Alexa also adds extra remote voice functionality to the I-Pace, allowing owners to check the remaining range and if the doors are locked via a smartphone.
Other additions to the Jaguar I-Pace lineup for 2022 include a new Premium Black styling pack. This costs an extra £2,900, adding a gloss black finish to the front grille, window surrounds, door mirror caps and rear badges. It also adds a new set of 22-inch alloy wheels in a matching gloss black finish, along with a rear spoiler and upgraded air suspension.
Jaguar has also added a new Ostuni White metallic paint finish to the options list as well, meaning that owners can now spec an I-Pace in one of fourteen different colour choices.
