According to Consumer Reports, Ford will replace the bushing with a non-faulty component and install a protective cap. According to USA Today, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that Ford included nearly 3 million vehicles in the recent recalls. However, not every Ford included in these recalls is prone to rolling away in park. The faulty bushing recalls include Ford Escapes from 2013 to 2019, Ford C-Max from 2013-2018, Ford Transit Connect Vans from 2013-2021, and 2015 to 2018 Ford Edges.
In addition to the bushing issues, Ford issued recalls for the Mustang, the Mustang Mach-E, the Bronco, and the F-series pickup truck. These vehicles have problems like driver assist technology issues and missing safety labels.
