Despite the handsome, c-shaped headlights and modern-Ford branded grille, these Thailand-based Ranger and Everests have had the retro Ford Bronco front end pasted onto them as an experiment of pure individuality.

Bakkie culture in South Africa has merged into its own individual subculture of avid enthusiasts, some more hellbent on achieving a level of individualization than others. Apart from the obvious modifications like chunky tyres, fender flares and a suspension raise, ladder-on frame models can also be imparted with bespoke bumpers and alternative grilles.
TTN Hypersport, a Thailand-based tuner well-versed with face transplants on Ford models plans on doing something controversial. Previous projects include converting Everest or Ranger models into their brute F series American counterparts but now the automotive shop has its sights set on pasting a Bronco front end onto the two models. Borrowing the obvious headlight and grille configuration from the adventure 4×4, the tuning shop seems to have also revised the bonnet and fenders while the lower part of the facade includes a butch-looking bumper with a sump guard and anchor points.
Did you know? Ford’s Ranger Raptor is no longer produced in South Africa since production was moved to Thailand, at Ford Thailand Manufacturing (FTM) and Auto Alliance Thailand (AAT) in Rayong.
