For the first 501 customers who make a pre-order of the smart #1 via the “Hello smart” app, you will get to enjoy early bird benefits. Not only will you be one of the first to own the #1, you will also receive charging credits worth RM1,001 in the app.
The charging credits will be credited to your account in the app upon delivery of your smart #1 so you can enjoy a seamless charging experience through the app that has integrated more than 70% of available public charging locations. The smart #1 can be reserved through the Hello smart app by placing a RM1,000 booking fee which is refundable.
The smart #1 will be available in 3 variants i.e. #1 Pro, #1 Premium, and #1 BRABUS, that have been specifically tailored for the Malaysian market. The Pro and Premium variants carry a chic design and offer an exhilarating driving experience, while the BRABUS model is a high-performance EV with a striking exterior design and a bright, sporty interior.
The smart #1 Pro variant features low drag 19″ alloy wheels, and a panoramic Halo Roof for more natural light. Energy comes from a 49 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery to give it a driving range of 315 km (WLTP).
On the other hand, the #1 Premium offers additional features including CyberSparksLED + Matrix headlamps, an illuminated front grille, and a larger 66 kWh NMC (lithium nickel manganese cobalt) battery that offers a 440 km driving range (WLTP). It is equipped with a single motor which provides 200 kW (268 hp) and 343 Nm to the rear wheels.
smart #1 Pro comes with 5 exterior colour choices i.e. Digital White, Laser Red, Cyber Silver, Quantum Blue, and Future Green. The Premium adds to that Atom Grey – Matte and Lumen Yellow. As for interior upholstery, the #1 Pro features the standard “After Dark” trim, while Premium comes in a 2-tone white and black “Dark Matter” trim. Both variants have an Eclipse Black Roof unless you pick the Atom Grey – Matte option which is only available with a body coloured roof.
The #1 BRABUS has 7 colour combinations. If you choose the Radiant Red roof, you can select from Atom Grey – Matte, Meta Black, and Cyber Silver exterior colours. If you prefer the Black roof, you have a choice of Digital White, Laser Red, and Cyber Silver. Lastly, the Atom Grey – Matte choice comes with an exclusive matte body-coloured roof. For the interior, it gets an exclusive ‘BRABUS’ trim.
The retail prices for smart #1 Pro, Premium and BRABUS will range between RM200,000 to RM250,000 (on the road, without insurance).

As an aside, an enhanced Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between smart & PROTON.
