- Consumer perception
- Expectation
- Purchase intent
- Awareness
- and trust of EVs
AutoTrader and Smarter Mobility Africa strongly believe that an important step in the process of promoting electric mobility, is to understand what the current perception and intention of consumers are, as well as what gaps exist, for the adoption of electric vehicles to happen.
The survey intends to bridge any gap between consumer perceptions & industry assumptions to assist stakeholders such as dealers, manufacturers, marketeers and government bodies to drive action-based discourses. The hope is that these insights lead to a tomorrow that is greener, cleaner and mutually beneficial to the automotive industry, the South African economy, and most importantly, the South African car buying consumers
This makes our involvement, as a brand, with the Smarter Mobility Summit as a media partner beneficial to you, our loyal readers and the mobility sector.
In addition, AutoTrader CEO, George Mienie will deliver a keynote presentation unpacking AutoTrader’s expertise within the future of the Automotive Industry. He will feature on a panel discussion with other industry experts to discuss the topic: ‘What are the barriers to going electric and going smarter for fleet managers?’ Be sure not to miss his presentation on the 5th of October at the EV & Battery Tech Stage in the Ruby Room between 12:40-13:00.
