What’s it like to drive?
Reviewer’s opinion
The Pajero Sport may have a lower output, but it doesn’t feel slower or less torquey than the Fortuner, though, and performs better in the efficiency stakes — we managed to bring our consumption down to 8.9 litres per 100 km – but it doesn’t smell quite as sweet as the Fortuner’s Euro 6-compliant engine, however. The 8-speed Aisin gearbox in the Pajero Sport is excellent and keeps the revs low at higher speeds.

Interior
What is the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport like inside?
The interior of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is stylish and incorporates some of the exterior design themes in the brightwork. The model also comes with a full leather interior and a host of comfort features such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB ports and accessory sockets scattered around the cabin. With all seven seats in use, customers can expect 193-litres of luggage space, however, this can expand to up to 813-litres.
Style
The Pajero Sport offers a striking design with an aggressive grille. The styling up front is bolstered with lashings of chrome. The headlamps and taillamps come with LED technology with the rear units offering a signature look. The lower front and rear of the vehicle also feature imposing skid plates which are not just for decoration but rather serve the purpose of protecting the underside of the vehicle as it traverses rugged terrain. On the sides, customers can expect electrically adjustable (and foldable) side mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels.
