This model sits above the Haval H9, offering a plug-in hybrid powertrain with up to 180 km of electric range. The H10 is available with two interior layouts for five and six seats. Haval previously launched the voting process for the official name of their flagship. Most of the netizens chose the Haval GWM H10 variant. We will remind you that GWM means Great Wall Motor. It is a parent company that owns the Haval brand. So, with this name, the Haval GWM H10 aims to have more connection with the automaker’s heritage. The Haval GWM H10 is the first brand’s model that stands on the GWM One modular architecture. The same platform underpins the recently launched Wey V9X crossover. It means the H10 is a unibody vehicle without a frame structure utilized by the Haval H9. Despite having a monocoque body, the GWM H10 is positioned as an off-road SUV. The Haval GWM H10 SUV The Haval GWM H10 adopts large blocky headlamps in the front, a LiDAR sensor on the roof, blackened pillars, and a swing-out tailgate with a full-size spare wheel mounted on it. Other highlights include traditional door handles, roof racks, large side-view mirrors, and sculpted fenders. The H10’s wheel arches have no gray plastic trim, as this model aims to represent a premium segment. The five-seat Haval GWM H10’s dimensions are 5138/2050/1970 mm with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its approach and departure angles are 24 and 30 degrees, respectively. The six-seat version’s length reaches 5,299 mm with the same wheelbase. Its departure angle is 26 degrees. The gear shifter sits on the steering column. As a result, there is enough space for a block of physical buttons, a wireless phone charging pad, a pair of cup holders, and a built-in fridge in the center tunnel. There is a ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers. The Haval GWM H10 adopts a plug-in hybrid Hi4 powertrain. It comes standard with a 1.5-liter ICE for 123 kW (165 hp) and a four-speed DHT. There is no information about electric motors of the GWM H10. However, there will be a more powerful variant of this SUV with a 2-liter engine for 175 kW (235 hp).
