The upgraded setup replaces the previous single-valve damping structure with a dual-valve configuration and introduces three-level stiffness adjustment with road preview capability. According to technical information presented during the launch event, the system can independently raise a wheel by up to 300 mm, supports three-wheel driving mode, and provides up to 200 mm of suspension travel adjustment. BYD said the hydraulic system has a maximum lifting capacity of 9 tonnes. The Denza B5 Flash-Charge Edition receives the largest upgrade compared with the previous model, as earlier B5 variants offered only a simplified YunNian-P version with two-level stiffness adjustment and no road preview function.
