It does so with BYD's e3 platform and a tri-motor setup: a 230-kilowatt motor up front and two 310-kilowatt motors at the rear, producing a combined 770 kilowatts (1,032 horsepower) and 892 pound-feet (1,210 Nm) of torque.Compared with the Performance version, the new trim is just a tenth of a second slower to 62 mph, Electrek reported. It also costs 40,000 yuan less, or roughly $6,000 less, and carries a slightly longer CLTC range estimate of up to 534 miles (860 km) instead of 509 miles (820 km) for the Performance model.A 122.5-kilowatt-hour BYD Blade Battery 2.0 supplies energy, and the EV also uses BYD's Flash Charging system.
