The vehicle is equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR and offers 120L of front trunk space. Measuring 5,090 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,025 mm, the sedan maintains a coupe-like silhouette. It will be available in seven exterior colours, including Morning Purple and Fjord Green, and offers various wheel options ranging from 19 to 20 inches. Interior Inside, the cabin features a wraparound layout with premium materials such as Nappa leather seats and suede headliners. Notable features include: Magnetic passenger panel: An interface for attaching accessories like tablets, headphones, or storage cases. Rear comfort: A 7-inch rear armrest screen for controlling climate, lighting, and entertainment. Storage: The vehicle provides 44 storage compartments and a 470L expandable trunk. Technology The Z9S is equipped with the “God’s Eye B” intelligent driving system, powered by the 5.0 large model. It supports urban navigation, high-speed pilot, and full-scenario parking. Safety is bolstered by a steel-aluminium hybrid body construction, with high-strength steel and aluminium accounting for 91.1% of the structure, achieving a torsional rigidity of 45,036 N·m/deg. Performance and powertrain The Z9S offers both rear-wheel-drive single-motor and tri-motor all-wheel-drive configurations: Single-motor: Maximum power of 370 kW (496 hp). Tri-motor: Combined maximum power of 890 kW (1,193 hp). Equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery (102.326 kWh and 122.496 kWh), the vehicle achieves CLTC ranges of 780 km (632 km WLTP), 920 km (745 km WLTP), and 1,100 km (891 km WLTP), with an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 2.68 seconds. Furthermore, the Z9S features the “e3” technology platform, including standard rear-wheel steering (with a minimum turning radius of 4.75m), “crab walk” mode, and the DiSus-A intelligent air body control system. 1,100km is the current world record for the longest electric vehicle range, the holder of this record also comes from BYD’s Denza brand, specifically the Z9 GT at 1,036 km (839 km WLTP).
