The vehicle will be available in three trim levels with pre-sale prices ranging from 319,800 yuan (47,000 USD) to 389,800 yuan (57,000 USD). The Denza Z9S is positioned as a more compact alternative to the Denza Z9. In terms of exterior dimensions, the car measures 5,090mm in length, 1,980mm in width, and 1,490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,025mm. DesignThe Z9S’s front end features a split-headlight design: double-strip LED lights on top and vertically arranged main headlamps on the sides of the front bumper. The roof is equipped with a LiDAR sensor for advanced driver assistance. There is also a 120L front trunk. The side profile adopts a dynamic coupe silhouette with blackened windows and new door handles. Customers can choose from four wheel styles (19-inch/20-inch Starry, 20-inch Wind-chaser, or 20-inch Radiance). The rear is characterised by slender light strips and an active electric spoiler. There is a magnetic passenger-side panel, allowing users to attach tablets, headphones, or decorative items. Rear passengers are provided with a 7-inch armrest screen to control climate, sunshades, and ambient lighting. The vehicle offers 44 storage spaces and an expandable rear trunk of 470L. Performance and batteryThe Z9S is powered by an all-electric drivetrain with two configurations: Single motor (rear): Maximum power of 370 kW (496 hp). Triple motor (AWD): Combined maximum power of 890kW (1,194 hp). Equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery (102.326 kWh), the Z9S offers CLTC ranges of 780km, 920km, and up to 1,100km. The high-performance AWD version can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 2.68 seconds. Technology and SafetyThe vehicle features the “God’s Eye B” (DiPilot 300) LiDAR version of the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), powered by the latest God’s Eye 5.0 large model. This system supports urban navigation, highway pilot, and all-scenario parking assistance.
