Priced between 189,900 and 229,900 yuan (28,290 – 34,245 USD), it undercuts the Xiaomi SU7. The FCB Formula S is a sporty liftback that started domestic sales on September 16. It took 12 days for this model to reach the first customers. It is worth noting that the Formula S can potentially enter foreign markets as part of the Denza brand, as its exterior styling aligns with the Denza Z sports car. The first owners of the FCB Formula S liftback The first owners of the Formula S shared that they picked this vehicle for several reasons. They include the DiPilot 300 (“God’s Eye B”) assisted driving system with the Navigate On Autopilot capabilities, up to 900 km of electric range with a nine-minute 10-97% charging time, an electromagnetic suspension system, and a zero-gravity mode for the front passenger seat. There is no information about the initial registrations of the FCB Formula S. However, according to China EV DataTracker, the FCB brand delivered 32,797 units in August 2026 in China. The brand’s bestseller is the FCB Ti 7 crossover, which handed over 23,471 cars in the same period. It is worth noting that the FCB Ti 7 is being marketed as the BYD Ti 7 outside China. The Formula S Back to the FCB Formula S liftback, it is the direct rival of the Xiaomi SU7 sedan. It boasts hefty dimensions of 5060/1967/1483 mm with a wheelbase of 2,960 mm. Other highlights include teardrop-shaped headlamps, an active air intake, a LiDAR on the roof, semi-hidden door handles, and a sporty rear diffuser. The FCB Formula S liftback comes standard with a 76.744 kWh LFP battery. It powers a single e-motor for 245 kW (329 hp). The car’s electric range is 720 km under CLTC conditions (612 WLTP). The long-range variant of the Formula S offers a 92.093 kWh LFP pack and a 300 kW (402 hp) e-motor. Its range lies between 830 and 900 km CLTC (706 – 765 km WLTP), depending on equipment. The Formula S will also be available with a dual-motor AWD for 490 kW (657 hp). Interior of the Formula S The car’s interior features a large touchscreen on the dashboard. Its gear shifter sits behind the three-spoke double-D-shaped steering wheel. The center tunnel offers a wireless phone charger, a block of physical buttons, and a pair of cup holders.
