Details on the upcoming 2023 Acura Integra have been leaked on a fan forum, including available colour options and what the brand has planned (and not planned) for the car’s manual transmission.
Much to the disappointment of Integra fans who were operating under the assumption the turbocharged 200-horsepower car – back after a 16-year pause – would be getting a stickshift option on a number of its trims (thanks in large part to the teaser video of the new generation shifting through gears manually) a spec chart leaked on the Integra Talk forum seems to indicate the cars’ makers have downshifted plans and will now only present a manual transmission as an option for the top-trim A-Spec Tech.
Also present on the leaked sheet was Acura’s colour wheel for the new Integra, complete with all the potential exterior and interior finish combinations. Intriguingly, the Type R Tiger Eye Pearl yellow that the concept was done up in does not make the list.
At the entry level, shoppers will choose from seven colour combos. Platinum White Pearl and Black Pearl pair with Ebony or Graystone interior, while selecting the former upholstery pattern unlocks the option to pick lunar Silver Metallic, Performance Red Pearl, and Liquid Carbon Metallic paint.
Up in the A-Spec and A-Spec Tech stratosphere, options include Liquid Carbon Metallic and Majestic Black Pearl paired with an Ebony or Red interior; Apex Blue Pearl paired with Ebony or Orchid insides; Lunar Silver Metallic, also with Ebony; Performance Red Pearl with Ebony or Orchid; and Platinum White Pearl with Ebony, Orchid, or Red.
The 2023 Acura Integra is slated to arrive later this year.
