The BMW i4 eDrive40 M Sport which BMW Malaysia had unveiled at NEXTGen Malaysia in January, is now open for booking.
Fitted with the M Sport package, the i4 eDrive40 Gran Coupé wears the M Aerodynamics exterior with M High-gloss Shadow Line to enhance its sporty appearance, complemented by the BMW Laserlights with Automatic High-beam Control. The car rides on 19″ M Aerodynamic Wheels 860 M Bicolour with staggered widths, and uses M Sport brakes.
The cabin is furnished with the Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite Interior Trim, M Anthracite Headliner, M Leather Steering Wheel and an instrument panel in Sensatec. Functional features for comfort include variable sports steering, electric seat adjuster with memory function, the Interior and Exterior Mirror Package, as well as automatic air-conditioning. For added convenience, there are the automatic tailgate operation, comfort access system, through-load system, and the Storage Compartment Package.
Other standard features are the BMW Live Cockpit Professional, BMW ConnectedDrive Services, BMW Connected Package Professional I, Intelligent Emergency Call, Teleservices, Smartphone Integration, 17-speaker Harman Kardon surround system, as well as storage for wireless charging.
Featuring a rear-wheel drive layout, the BMW i4 combines a progressive design with superior aerodynamics, electrifying dynamic performance and comfort. Its current-excited synchronous motor generates a maximum output of 340 hp and 430 Nm of torque. This allows for a century sprint time of just 5.7 seconds.
Safety systems include Acoustic Protection for Pedestrians, Active Protection for Pedestrians, Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant Plus and Active Protection.

The BMW i4 eDrive40 M Sport will be available in Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Dravit Grey in its first selection. Additional exterior colours of Sanremo Green, M Portimao Blue and M Brooklyn Grey (which will replace Dravit Grey) will be available later in the year. Interior upholstering is available in Black, Mocha and Tacora Red Leather Vernasca.
The retail pricing (on the road, without insurance) for the BMW i4 eDrive40 M Sport, with Extended Warranty & Service Package is RM389,800.
