The front end has been tweaked ever so slightly.
The M3 Touring is expected to finally be debuted this year and will feature the twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six engine with 375 kW and 650 N.m. These vehicles often carry additional equipment in the large boot which add considerable weight to the car and thus require suspension tweaks to improve the handling characteristics. The model donned in Police trim does also provide us with a little bit of insight to what the refresh will entail.
The camouflaged front conceals a tweaked front headlight and grille design but the rear is almost unchanged from its predecessor so this can be considered a mild update. The side simply boasts neon yellow and blue Police livery.
While the spied models all seem close to production ready, BMW have still not provided an indication as to when the refreshed 3 Series debut will take place. The updates have been spotted across the range on the sedan, wagon and Alpina derivatives.
