The two performance models are about $4 grand more than last year.
Pricing has finally been revealed for the 2024 Audi RS6 Avant and 2024 Audi RS7 performance models. The former starts at $125,800 and the latter costs $127,800 (not including a $1,095 destination charge). For that, customers get either a wagon or Sportback with 621 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque from a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8. That's a 30 hp and 37 lb-ft increase over the standard RS6 and RS7. 0-60 in either car takes just 3.3 seconds (likely a conservative estimate), 0.2 seconds quicker than the non-performance-badged cars. We drove the two recently, and in short, they're bonkers.
For reference, the 2023 RS6 Avant started at $121,900, and the 2023 RS7 started at $123,900, but those models are now discontinued and replaced by the performance variants. The performance upgrades add $3,900 to the overall price, but you do get a lot more than a simple power bump for your money.

The center differential is lighter and more compact than the previous system and the transmission software is recalibrated for quicker shift times. Audi even reduced the sound deadening under the hood and added an available RS sport exhaust to make the cars louder and more visceral.
Visually, the performance models get matte gray exterior trim, standard 21-inch wheels, or optional 22-inch milled cut wheels with a matte gray finish or optional gloss black finish. There is also a new Bronze edition, limited to just 75 examples of the RS6 Avant performance and 50 units of the RS7 performance. All 125 examples come finished in Sebring Black crystal effect paint with matte neodymium gold wheels. This package also increases the top speed from 155 to 174 mph.

Inside, customers can add the new RS design package in gray, red, and blue (the latter two are pictured below). Audi made some changes to the Virtual Cockpit display, including a blinking shift indicator in manual transmission mode that changes the tachometer from green to yellow or red depending on how close the driver gets to redline. Drivers can even switch the gauges from black to white, which more closely resemble the analog gauges in the first quattro GmbH car, the 1997 S6 plus.
The 2024 RS6 and RS7 performance will make it to US dealer lots this fall, and according to recent spy shots, they may soon be outmatched by an even more hardcore variant. Audi has promised that its best internal combustion engine cars are still to come.
