Audi enthusiasts can get a live look inside the company’s electric vehicle manufacturing hub in Brussels.
Exploring the Belgian factory is now possible without leaving the house, with the site now part of Audi’s live stream video service.
AudiStream allows digital visitors the chance to take a guided virtual tour for free, acting as a replacement for traditional visits.

The Brussels production facility was founded in 1949, and was initially created to build Studebakers for the Belgian market.
The site later switched to producing Volkswagens, with the Golf, Passat and Lupo all made there at various times. Between 2010 and 2018, the Brussels factory was the sole producer of the first-generation Audi A1.
Following the end of A1 production, a dramatic transformation saw the plant reconfigured to build Audi’s E-tron range of electric SUVs.
In November 2021, the factory hit a major milestone by producing its eight-millionth car.

Explaining how the factory changed to building electric vehicles is the core theme of the Brussels AudiStream tour. Visitors can see all aspects of production, from the paint shop through to final assembly.
The latter involves more than 1,000 parts being brought together, on a production line that is over a kilometre long. A look at the final quality inspection is also included in the tour, with the high-voltage battery manufacturing facility saved as a finale.
Peter D’hoore, spokesperson for Audi Brussels, said: “We still get a lot of inquiries. AudiStream makes it possible to meet that desire, even if on-site tours are currently impossible due to the coronavirus.”
Audi also offers virtual tours of the Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm factories, along with insight into its design process.
